TENSION AS GUNMEN SHOT 3 NAZARAWA POLY STUDENTS, KIDNAP ONE

About three students of Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic in Lafia, Nasarawa State were reportedly shot by gunmen on the 25th of September 2023.


The assailants also abducted one Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) ND ll female student simply identified as Ajoke. 


The victims of the gunshot one Freedom Luka and Ogwuche Janet said to be students of HND l Public Administration and HND II Business Administration and Management, and Danladi Nicholas said to be seeking admission. All are currently receiving treatment at Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH), Lafia.


Subsequently, the security at the Polytechnic environment has continued to be a source of concern for students, staff and residents.


Meanwhile, the matter has been reported to the security agency and the investigation into the ugly development is ongoing to ascertain the true situation of the incident.
