POLICE NABS 2 FOR ALLEGED MURDER OF POLICE IN NIGER STATE
The operatives of Niger State Police Command have arrested two suspects who allegedly murdered a police constable, Nasiru Yusuf, at Minima village, Lavun LGA, Niger State.
The information available indicates that the policemen on duty were attacked by the assailants following their presence to make inquiries and to bring normalcy into a community after complaints of assault and mayhem reached the police station.

The two policemen were attacked by the villagers in the process and inflicting a series of injuries on them which unfortunately caused the death of a police constable, Nasiru Yusuf, at the hospital where he was receiving treatment while the other officer is still receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre, Bida.
Meanwhile, the two suspects have been arrested in connection with the unfortunate incident and they are undergoing interrogation, as the incident is under investigation, and they will be charged in court upon completion of the investigation.
