THE UNITED NATIONS SETS TO CREATE A NEW COUNTRY CARVED OUT OF NIGERIA AND CAMEROON
The United Nations has completed plans to create a new country carved out of Nigeria and Cameroon by July 10.
The new State is to be called the United Nations Organisation (UNO) State of Cameroon.
Nigeria might lose twenty-four local governments in Borno state to the newly created Country due to a joint agreement signed by former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Paul Biya of Cameroon, according to the Guardian.

Some of the councils to be ceded to the UNO State of Cameroon are Bama, Gwoza, Ngala, Kala/Balge, Dikwa, Madagali, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South, Mayo/Belwa, Toungo, Ganye, Serti, Hong, Jada, Maiha and Jada.
It was revealed that Obasanjo and Biya signed documents to cede their twin territories to the proposed UNO new country in March 2003.
Reports say residents in Southern Cameroon see this as a welcome development as they have been clamouring for their own country-Ambazonia.
The Guardian disclosed that the withdrawal of troops by Biya was formally requested by the former President of the United Nations General Assembly, Ali A. Treki, setting the stage for the creation of the new State.
