BANDITS SET BUS CONVEYING MANY PASSENGERS ABLAZE IN SABON BIRNIN LGA OF SOKOTO

Eons Intelligence have gathered that bandits on Monday attacked and set a commercial bus conveying an unspecified number of passengers ablaze in Gidan Bawa Village, Sabon Birni LGA of Sokoto State.


The number of victims burnt to death cannot be ascertained as of this time, however, sources disclose that 7 persons survived the attack and are currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital while more than 20 persons were burnt alive.


Some of the victims who were burnt were women, including one who was pregnant, as well as children.


The victims were said to be traveling to Gusau from where some of them would go to Abuja for safety because their communities in Sabon Birni were dispersed by gunmen.


Sabon Birnin LGA has been under bandits' attacks in recent weeks. Recall, on November 17, Eons Intelligence reported that bandits killed 14 persons in Sabon Birnin LGA of Sokoto.
