TROOP NEUTRALIZE TERRORIST, CONFISCATE ARMS, AMMUNITION
Troops of the Nigerian Army killed several insurgent fighters after it cleared five suspected Boko Haram terrorist hideouts in the North East of Mafa in Borno State.
Information available indicates that troops of 112 Battalion of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with some Civilian Joint Task Force embarked on a patrol to the terrorist hideouts in Bulakulari, Gwari gwazo, Loskori, Limanti and Gaza villages on 3 December 2022.
Sequel to the patrol, the troops made contact with the terrorists and eliminated unspecified numbers of them in one of the villages.
About 40 bicycles, arms and ammunition were confiscated by the troops.
