PRESIDENT BUHARI, OTHER "G4" MEMBERS EVOLVE NEW STRATEGIES FOR CONFLICT RESOLUTION IN AFRICA

Nigeria, South Africa, Ethiopia and Algeria who make up the G4 members within the African Union (AU) have resolved to strengthen the platform for conflict resolution in Africa.

 

The four African leaders during the meeting on Thursday in Brussels,

Belgium ahead of the 6th EU-AU Summit used the opportunity to discuss crisis areas on the African continent with a view to evolving new strategies for practical and effective solutions.

 

The Platform is an initiative of the Ethiopian Prime Minister,

Abiy Ahmed, set up towards discussing and proffering solutions as well as

aggregating positions to ensure that the African Union seamlessly carries its

work forward successfully and efficiently.
