POLICE ARREST FOUR SUSPECTS WITH AMMUNITION IN DELTA
Reports indicate that four suspects have been arrested in Asaba, Delta State capital for being in possession of a fabricated English Baretta pistol with five rounds of live 9mm ammunition.
The suspects, including two females, one Blessing Oghule and Nweke Abudi, were apprehended alongside their accomplices, Ebuka Paul and Sunday Inuse, when security operatives raided a notorious hideout in the Abraka axis of Asaba metropolis.
Bright Edafe, the State's Police PRO, who confirmed the development in a statement on Monday, said five stolen phones, one handbag containing weeds suspected to be Indian hemp, one nylon bag containing substances suspected to be ice and ten wraps of substances suspected to be cocaine were recovered from Blessing Oghule.
Also, security operatives arrest seven suspected cultists in Obiaruku, Ukwuani council area of the State. One locally made short gun, one battle axe, a cutlass, knife and charms, the statement said,were recovered from them.
