POLICE ARREST 44 SUSPECTED LOOTERS OF ADAMAWA STATE WAREHOUSE

The operatives of Adamawa State Police Command on 30th July 2023 arrested 44 suspects over the unrest and widespread looting of food stores and warehouses in the state’s capital, Yola, after the imposed 24-hour curfew by the Adamawa State government.


Following the unrest looting by the miscreants on Sunday afternoon,

the joint security operatives swung into action, dispersing the looters and arresting 44 suspects from different locations across the state where such illegal activities took place.


Consequently, the security operatives made recovery of looted food items like water pumps and seeds.


Meanwhile, the investigation into the matter is ongoing and other suspected miscreants will be arrested and recover other food items looted.
