MASSACRE AVERTED BY SECURITY AGENCIES AND VIGILANTE GROUP IN ABIA STATE.

The Vigilante group and government security agencies have just averted what could have been another possible massacre in an Abia State community over 2 missing cows and killing of 3 others by unknown persons believed to be members of the farming community.

However, The community vigilante service had alerted both the police and military after they observed suspicious movement in and around the community.

Members of the police, the military, and other community leaders were taken to the scene where the cow was killed and buried in a deep ditch, by unknown youths and residents of the community.

The police and military has however restored calm to the situation and the herdsmen have agreed to peaceful settlement which translates to payment for the dead cow and unrestricted movement to search for the remain two.

Suspects still at large but hopefully will be turned to explain reasons and motive behind the incident.

However, the community is now calm and peaceful.
