LAWAN WELCOMES ORJI KALU BACK TO THE SENATE
Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, today, welcomed the Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu representing Abia North, back to the Senate chamber.
Recall that the Federal High Court in Abuja granted the release of Senator Orji on June 2nd, 2020, and he regained freedom on June 4th, 2020.
Senator Kalu has been out of the Senate since December 2019.
Welcoming him, the Senate President told reporters ''we welcome back our one and only Chief Whip. We are very grateful to God for bringing him back.”
