KIDNAPPED EKITI COMMISSIONER HAS BEEN RELEASED

Kidnapped Ekiti State Commissioner for Agriculture, Olabode Folorunsho, has been released after eight days in captivity. 


This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Values Orientation, Muyiwa Olumilua, on Monday, May 4. 


 Folorunsho was kidnapped on the evening of Sunday, April 26, along Isan - Illudun Road in Ekiti state. 


The kidnappers were said to have demanded N30m ransom, which was negotiated to N15m.


But the state government did not disclose whether the ransom was paid or not. 


 Olabode Folorunsho was said to be in good health, without bruises and has since rejoined his family.
