IGP, 11 Others Tests Negative to Coronavirus
“The Inspector General of Police, M.A Adamu has been declared free from the COVID-19 virus, after he received his tests results this morning. His samples and that of other officers were collected for laboratory test on 27th of March, 2020.”
The Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Frank Mba, the Principal Staff Officer to the IGP, DCP Idowu Owohunwa, Head of the Force Technical Intelligence Unit, DCP Lanre Ogunlowo, Personal Physician to the IGP, CSP (Dr) Nonye Welle, Medical Officer, Police Clinic, Force Headquarters, Abuja CSP (Dr) Titus Adegbite, Secretary to the IGP, SP Moses Jolugbo and five (5) other close aides to the IGP were also confirmed to be COVID-19 free.
The IGP admonishes all police officers and the general public to take precautionary measures and obey all restriction orders emplaced by the Constituted Authorities concerning the Coronavirus
