ARMED ROBBERS ATTACK COMMUTERS ALONG ORO AGO-OMU ARAN HIGHWAY IN KWARA, CART AWAY UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT OF MONEY, VALUABLES

Gunmen on Friday attacked some commuters plying the Oro Ago-Omu Aran highway in the Ifelodun LGA of Kwara State, carting away an unspecified amount of money.


Eons Intelligence gathered that the incident occurred in the early hours of Friday morning after the assailants, who wielded heavy weapons, attacked two commercial bus drivers.


The assailants succeeded in dispossessing the motorists and passengers of the two commercial buses of their money and other valuables, after which they fled the scene.


Recall, on Thursday, Eons Intelligence reported that gunmen suspected to be armed robbers attacked a bullion van belonging to a yet to be disclosed bank along Otor-Owhe on the Ughelli-Asaba dual carriageway in Isoko North LGA of Delta State.
