FUT LECTURER SLAUGHTERED IN NIGER STATE
An Associate Professor, Dr Adefolalu Funmilola Sherifat, a lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry, Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, Niger State, has reportedly found dead in her residence at the Gbaiko area of Minna, Niger State.
The information available indicates that the lecturer's body was found in the pool of her blood with two knives suspected to have been used to slit her throat in her residence.
The lifeless body of the victim who was about to emerge to the level of full professorship in academics was discovered on 29th October 2023 at about 1000hrs by her church members who visited her at home after she was not present at the worship house and was unable to reach via phone calls.
Meanwhile, her body was taken by the police operatives and deposited at IBB Specialist Hospital, Minna where she was confirmed dead.
