The troops successfully eliminated the group's kingpin in a fire fight and recovered one AK-47 rifle with 2 magazines, 7 rounds of 7.62 mm (Special)&nbsp;and a motorcycle.</p><p><br></p><p>In a related development, troops foiled a kidnapping attempt, while responding to a distress call about kidnapping activities along Kasu village road, Kafanchan District in Jema'a Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The troops arrested two suspected kidnappers and recovered one fabricated rifle, 2 rounds of 7.62 mm (Special), one cartridge, and a motorcycle.</p><p><br></p><p>In another successful operation, troops neutralized a suspected armed robber at Kaskara Check Point in response to a distress call about armed robbery activities around UTC (TENTI) Junction in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State. The troops neutralized one of armed robbers. Items recovered from the scene include one locally fabricated gun and other harmful weapons.</p>',
