TIV/JUKUN CLASH: ATTACK ON TAKUM COMMUNITY LEAVE RESIDENTS IN DISTRESS
There was an attack on residents of Takum community in Taraba State.
The attack occurred about 10.30 pm on Wednesday, June 11.
Reports say the attack was a reprisal attack based on the ethnic disputes between the Tivs and Jukuns.
Information on casualties recorded have not been released but sources say the attack left residents scampering for safety.
Although the TIVS and Jukuns are neighbours, they have been engaged in decades of intermittent fightings mostly over lands and as political rivals
