COVID-19 LOCKDOWN: 34 JOGGERS ARRESTED IN LAGOS.
The 34 joggers on Gbagada expressroad have been arrested for violating the Government's order on restrictions of movement and Social distancing directives.
They have been subsequently charged to court. A Yaba Magistrates' court in Lagos has sentenced all 34 persons to one one month community service for violating the social distancing directives of the Lagos State Government.
The court ruled the violators should be quarantined for 14 days at the Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba or any other place designated by the government.
Meanwhile Three others pleaded not guilty.
